Philly Beer Cheese Hoagie
Gehl's Beer Cheese makes this premium take on a Philly cheese steak a must on your menu. Customers will be lining up at the door!
Prep Time: 5 minutes Total Time: 15 minutes Serves: 4
1 cup Gehl’s Beer Cheese Sauce
2 tbsp canola oil
3 cups thinly sliced onions
3 cups thinly sliced peppers
1/4 tsp salt and pepper
4 sub buns, split (6 inch)
16 slices roast beef
16 slices ham
16 slices sliced salami
2 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives
1. In microwave-safe bowl, microwave sauce on High for 1 to 2 minutes or until warm (do not boil). Stir frequently.
2. Heat oil in large skillet set over medium-high; cook onions, peppers, salt and pepper for 4 to 6 minutes or until tender.
3. Layer roast beef, ham and salami in buns. Top with cheese sauce and onion mixture.
Cook onions and peppers on flat top grill and keep warm in steam table or warmer for service.
