Extra Cheesy Cheeseburger

A classic cheeseburger with a new level of cheesy deliciousness. Gehl’s Cheddar Cheese Sauce provides better burger coverage, while keeping the sandwich hot!

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 Tbsp freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ cup Gehl's Cheddar Cheese sauce
  • 4 slices tomato
  • 4 slices red onion
  • ½ small heart romaine lettuce
  • 4 Kaiser rolls
  • Optional: Ketchup, mustard, avocado, etc.


  1. Mix lean ground beef with black pepper and salt in a large bowl. Form the mixture into 4-¾ inch thick patties. Grill patties over medium heat for 12 – 14 minutes. When burgers are almost done cooking, lightly toast kaiser rolls on the grill.
  2. When done, take burger patties and rolls off grill. Place burgers on buns and top each with 2 Tbsp of Gehl’s Cheddar Cheese Sauce. Add sliced tomato, red onion and lettuce and other desired toppings!
