Chicken Pesto Pizza

Bursting with fresh herb flavors, this light and lively pizza made with Gehl's Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce makes a delicious lunch.

  • 1 lb prepared pizza dough
  • 1/2 cup Gehl’s Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce
  • 1/3 cup prepared basil pesto sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup sliced cooked chicken breast
  • 1/4 tsp each red chili flakes and salt
  • 1 cup lightly packed arugula
  • 2 tbsp thinly sliced fresh basil 


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease 14-inch round pizza pan; set aside.
  2. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out dough into 1/4-inch thickness to fit prepared pan.
  3. Spread cheese sauce over dough, leaving 1/2-inch border for crust.  Drizzle pesto sauce over top. Scatter mozzarella and chicken over top. Sprinkle with chili flakes and salt.
  4. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until crust is golden brown and crisp. Top with arugula and basil.
