Breakfast Sausage and Queso Blanco Pizza

This pizza twist on a sausage and egg breakfast is a fun way to start the day.

  • 1 lb prepared pizza dough
  • 3/4 cup Gehl’s Queso Blanco Cheese Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 6 mini breakfast sausages, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 4 eggs
  • Pinch each salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh chives


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease 14-inch round pizza pan; set aside.
  2. On lightly floured work surface, roll out dough into 1/4-inch thickness to fit prepared pan.
  3. Spread cheese sauce over dough, leaving 1/2-inch border for crust.  Scatter cheese, sausages and onion over top.
  4. Bake for about 15 minutes or until crust is golden and crisp. Crack eggs evenly over top; sprinkle with salt and pepper. For eggs sunny-side up, bake for about 5 minutes or just until whites are set, or cook until desired doneness. Sprinkle with chives.
