Chorizo Taco Breakfast Pizza

  • 1 lb prepared pizza dough
  • 3/4 cup Gehl’s Premium Sharp Cheddar Cheese Sauce
  • 1 cup shredded Cheddar Jack cheese
  • 2 raw chorizo sausages (about 5 oz each), casings removed, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/3 cup diced red pepper
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 4 eggs
  • Pinch each salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh parsley


  1. Preheat oven to 425°F. Lightly grease 14-inch round pizza pan; set aside.
  2. On a lightly floured work surface, roll out dough into 1/4-inch thickness to fit prepared pan.
  3. Spread cheese sauce over dough, leaving 1/2-inch border for crust. Scatter cheese, sausages, red pepper and onion over top. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until crust is lightly golden.
  4. Crack eggs evenly over top; sprinkle with salt and pepper. For eggs sunny-side up, bake for about 10 minutes or just until egg whites are set, or cook until desired doneness. Sprinkle with parsley.
